Travel: Where To Eat In Miami
When I go to Miami, it’s typically to the very touristy area of South Beach. However, because I was there on business, which is somewhat of an oxymoron, Miami and business sounds like opposites right? Before I left, I was able to experience a smidget of Miami life by discovering a hidden gem called…
“The Lido Bayside Grill”

And oh my, what an experience! To me, that’s what qualifies places as gems, they give experiences vs. just a place to be at. It’s all about how it makes you feel and this place makes you feel like every penny you spent to get there was worth it.
The Lido Bayside Grill is placed behind a hotel called, The Standard Spa. The Standard Spa is located at 40 Island Ave. Miami Beach, FL 33139. You have to walk through a pathway to get to it, and the pathway is beautiful!

Once you make it to the back where the restaurant is located, you’re in awe of the view of the water and the boats passing by. Every table has a view of the water, so there is no specific section to request upon arrival. However, seat at your own risk by the water because the sun is intense and the umbrellas over the table will only cover some of the seats.
Here’s a link to Google Maps, so you can easily find it while in Miami. Be sure to let me know what other menu items you tried and your thoughts on the restaurant!

The Lido Bayside Grill has a great selection of cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. The cost is pretty average, considering you’re in Miami and food and drinks can get pretty pricey. This restaurant makes me want to go back to Miami, just for the amazing ambience. Next time, I will stay at The Standard Spa so that I have DAILY access to all of this!
