Welp, it’s that time of year again folks, flu season.

Fall and winter seasons are most common for flu viruses, with a peak that typically hits from December-February. No worries though, I’ve got 3 convenient must-haves for flu season that you can keep with you at all times in your purse and/or easily take them on the go.

However, I think it’s important to first highlight the symptoms of the flu. Let’s actually learn what you’re fighting against and what these products can help relieve. People with the flu can feel some or all of the following symptoms.

Symptoms of the flu:

  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Fever/chills
  • Headaches
  • Muscle/body aches
  • Fatigue/tiredness

Great! Now that we have the technical stuff out of the way, let’s get into the good part. The products!

BTW, Kroger was my one-stop shop for all of the products listed below, so don’t forget to bring along you Kroger Plus Shopper Card (peep my keys).

Kleenex® Wet Wipes

Think about how often we use the sense of ‘touch’. We touch doors to open and close them, we touch our car keys to get in the car, we touch the garage remote to close it as we pull out…at this point we’ve touched a million germs before we’ve even made it out to general population. Kleenex Germ Removal Wet Wipes safely wipes away 99% of germs from skin with no harsh chemicals, Perfect for on the go! They’re also strong for hands, soft for face & body. They’re perfect! What I really love about these wet wipes is that I can take them everywhere, even when it’s not flu season. Just a few months ago, I used them during a hike to avoid bringing any germs from the woods back home.

Kleenex is offering FREE Home Delivery (where home delivery is available) Offer valid 9/4 – 11/11/18. Check your in-store circular for the 11/4 coupon for .50¢ Off Kleenex Facial Tissue or Wipes. Also look for the $1.50 coupon on 4-pack Kleenex Facial Tissues, for Kleenex Germ Removal Wet Wipes.

Lipton Bedtime Bliss Tea

Do you like things that are good for you AND delicious? Good, me too.

Another item that I’m in love with, whether it’s treating flu symptoms or not, is Lipton’s Bedtime Bliss Tea. A lot of times, especially as moms, all we need is rest. The Lipton Bedtime Bliss has a mix of chamomile, mint and orange peels.

An herbal infusion that sings you to sleep, like a lullaby in a cup.* Carefully selected botanicals are blended with natural essential oils that make every cup delicious (that you can actually pronounce).

Theraflu Power Pods

Even though I purchased the nighttime version, don’t worry there’s a daytime one too!

Out of PTO days at work and have to come in feeling awful? Go into the break room, pop one of these bad boys into the single-serve coffee maker and power through your day. Keep a box of these in your desk drawer for yourself and your co-workers that bring their germs into the office. Every office has that one co-worker that has every supply, every snack and every medication that you need. Congrats, with these Theraflu pods, you can now be that person.

You can save $2.00 on any ONE (1) Theraflu Power Pods through 12/8, via this digital offer.

Temporarily relieve these symptoms for your co-workers due to a cold:

    • minor aches and pains
    • headache
    • nasal and sinus congestion
    • cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation
  • minor sore throat pain

These #fluseasonhacks should give you guys more hope this year than you had last year walking into the 2018 flu season.
